IVF: Our chance for Baby Miller
Hello, thank you for taking a moment to read about our story. We understand not everyone will agree with the method of fund raising or even the procedure, trust me, it took a lot for us to openly share such a private and emotional phase in our lives with everyone who will read this.
My wife and I will be married 7 years in July. When we met one of the things we had in common was the dream we’ve had since childhood of growing up to marry and form a beautiful family with kids that are raised with strong family values and the faith that was instilled in us by our parents. After a couple of years of trying with no success it led us to seek medical guidance, several doctor visits later we found a urologist who diagnosed me with a condition called Oligospermia (low sperm count). He referred us to a fertility specialist who explained the only way I could start a family would be with the help of IVF (In vitro fertilization).
The IVF process was thoroughly explained, and we were left extremely hopeful but then a shocking blow of the cost associated with this procedure was delivered. Between doctor visits, specific medications and in-house tests exceeding 20k in total costs, we knew this would be a great financial hurdle for us.
As a police officer I’ve dedicated a lot of time working extra duty and overtime to save money to close the financial gap. My wife has tried to find a part-time job that works around her full-time work schedule to help pay for this procedure. Our hope is that we can save up as much money as possible to get the procedure started and be able to hold our much-desired baby Miller in our arms.

We can’t stress enough how much it means to us that you took the time to read about our story and would appreciate prayers for strength and courage as we begin this difficult journey.
