My name is Dainna Pearce,I live in Lawrence, Ks. I am the mother of Adrian Alexander jones born 5/15/2008. First, i want to say this campaign has been up for a while. The reason why is because I still have not gotten girls back their still going thru therapy but, my youngest will be coming home 1st and we need beds and things for girls, bedding as well. Update.....(WE GOT THE BED) THANK YOU ALL! But, we Also need a bigger home and furniture ect for new home, we need more bedrooms and lease is up 7/25/2017. We need help..Also I drive to get youngest and drop her off its a distance their and back gas is needed, as well as food to feed her,shoes or clothes as well as any activities like going to beach,movies anything to make my baby smile. And therapy for myself which i do once a month. Also for Adrian and his funeral, I may be able to get help but we need to be prepared, because i am just now allowed to get his remains. (Remains have been released to funeral home). This is my story,.......Unimaginable tragedy has struck my family and taken the life of my sweet, innocent seven-year-old son. As the authorities did their best to bring justice for my sweet son Adrian, I would like to focus on providing my angel with a memorial since trial is over, and also focus on rebuilding, better than ever, the lives of his sisters.

I have two beautiful daughters age 12 and 7 now, who, along with their brother Adrian, had been living with their father, stepmother and 4 of their half siblings, for only 3 years 2012 to 2015. When my son tragically lost his life, we found he was tortured, beat, starved and killed. For 9 monthes and then sat in their home in the shower stall where they kept him after he passed for 2 weeks before they threw his body to the pigs. Heather the step mom pleaded guilty she got 25 to life, , his father facing charges, his sentencing is was 5/8/2017 and he got 25 to life. However it is with immense sadness and complete shock that I have learned that based on the allegations of how my son came to pass; my heart is filled with pain and sorrow for my son..
It is a heartbreaking and lengthy journey I now embark on to reunite and rebuild my family with my two daughters we have been on this journey for 1 1/2 years, who have lost so much in their short lives. It is up to me to help them heal, to surround them with family and friends, and to bring them home, safe and filled with love, laughter, comfort and caring so they can continue to live life as children should. Were focusing on beds, bedding, mattresses, bigger bome. Also, I am focusing on a cremation for my son, they are finally releasing his remains, i just need him safe with me, i know his spirit is tho.

To Adrian: You are loved little one, you were held close and kissed, snuggled and cuddled, you have friends and family who mourn your loss and will forever, FOREVER, remember your sweet big wondering eyes, your kind, sweet heart.But, the one thing as your mother what I remember the most is your smile,you had the perfect smile,,and a perfect dimple. You have sisters and brothers biological and beyond who, though they may have seen you little in the last few years, but they love you beyond words.

Our family has not been perfect, mistakes have been made, hearts broken, but no child or children should ever be buried due to the actions of a parent and/or stepparent. While I have yet to know, and may never be certain, of the fullbextent of the physical and emotional abuse my children may have experienced at the hands of people who should have shown them only love, and protection. I know that I can help my girls put their lives back together with help from everyone, as well as finding a bigger house for them by July 25,2017.and create more happy childhood memories. Also, my sons remains can finally be released to me, my moms trying to get resources to help for a burial with head stone but im more focused on a cremation, were doing both! So he can be with me at all times, like he is in spirit. But this is mostly about his sisters and getting what they need so we can try to move on! . Never forget but we have to try to move forward! Help me help my daughters heal.
Please, this request is about building a future for Adrian’s sisters and paying tribute to his short life. Many of his oldest siblings and close friends have shared this request and may see your comments. Adrian has over a dozen siblings full, half and of the heart that may view your comments and be impacted by the words you choose and the actions you take, please be respectful and bring no more harm to my family.
