I developed a chatbot that helps individuals in 17 counties in the state of Texas find the nearest early voting location. Users can text "VOTE" to [phone redacted] to find the nearest early voting location. It will also give you directions via driving or public transportation to get to the polls. This idea is a very costly measure to run. Currently, it costs 18 cents per user, which adds up really quickly.

If we meet our modest goal of $5,000, we can help over 20,000 people find out where to vote during early voting. This will also give us the resources to expand this service to other states in the country like California, Louisiana, Florida, and Massachusetts.
