Helping Get Women Back to Work

Mission Wear is a small non-profit business that has been hiring women with obstacles to employment for over 8 years.   Obstacles to employment include a history of incarceration, felony, homelessness or a history of addiction.  We have employed almost 60 women and have given them up to a 2 year job opportunity. This employment opportunity  includes learning a skill (manufacturing), plus earning an income.    They can also receive help with things like housing and  legal issues.  Our goal for each of the women  is to give them the self-sufficiency they need by equipping them with the skill, confidence and support  to go forward.  Over the past 8 years, we have had a 75%  rate of women moving out of Mission Wear to other employment or further education within the 2 year employment period.  Please consider helping Mission Wear continue to grow and help women in the Denver area in their journey towards self-sufficency
