The Biloxi Fire Museum is once again gearing up to do what we do best, paying it forward and helping those in need. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey the devastation is widespread and life changing. We are currently making contacts to determine an exact location for our relief effort and are planning a week long trip to provide assistance as needed.
As with all our trips, the manpower is provided through selfless volunteers who temporarily place their personal lives on hold to help others. The Fire Museum provides the funding for the trip through its Relief Fund. Funds are used to provide food and shelter for the volunteers while on the mission as well as tools, supplies and equipment necessary to get the job done. Previously, our campaigns somehow managed to raise the funds necessary to complete each job. It is our hope this campaign will accomplish the same.
The continued support of the people of Biloxi and our surrounding communities is what allows us to continue these efforts.  Whether by cash donations, large or small; donations of goods and supplies; or simply sharing our message, each and every one of you make it possible for us to help those in need. For this, we are extremely humbled and deeply grateful!
We need your support now so that as soon as a location is determined, we will have the funds necessary to head out as soon as possible. We anticipate a leave date within the next two weeks.

Our sincerest thanks for reading our story, sharing our story and for your generous support!

As we prepare to head out Friday to Rockport, TX, our thoughts and prayers are equally with those affected recently by Hurricane Irma. As always, you - our supporters, and the amazing people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast have and will continue to come through in support of others!
We will have a team of about 12 which will meet up with our partner team of 6 from Iowa, putting a solid 18 pairs of feet on the ground to bring assistance to the Rockport community as promised. As always, your support of these efforts is astounding and greatly appreciated.
Continued prayers for those affected by Harvey and Irma as well as prayers for a safe trip.
THANK YOU!!

Diligently working to identify the location that we can best serve. At this time, we are planning to leave on Friday, Sept 15th to a destination still undetermined. Daily contacts are being made and we are in the process of narrowing down a location and determining our ability to meet their needs. It is always our effort to be as self sufficient as possible and not cause additional drain on resources desperately needed in a community. We will update soon with our location and confirm our travel dates.
The current response to our effort has been inspirational and we offer sincere thanks to all who have donated and/or shared our message!
