This fund is to raise the remainder of the funds for a Guatemala Bottle School Project which provides the construction of a school for the desparately needy children of Guatemala, the opportunity for those who are recovering from addiction to give back, and in memory of loved ones lost to addiction and in celebration of their lives. A group of 20 of us will experience a Voluntourism DreamTrip building a Bottle School along side the children of Guatemala during the week of Thanksgiving, November 20-26, 2016.
This particular trip will consist of some DreamTrips members, family and friends of lost loved ones, and also loved ones who are actively working on their recovery from addictions. We will dedicate the school in the memory of any loved ones lost to addiction that you would like to honor. This project provides a fulfilling and rewarding experience for the entire group as they encounter the meaningful experience of the natural high "hope is the new dope" and feeling of fulfillment that comes from serving others, giving back, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of underpriviledged children. The monies needed is being raised to fund the trip fee $1,200 per person and airfare (approx. $800) for 20 young men and women who are actively working on their recovery from addiction and for family members, friends, or loved ones who wish to come along. This trip will be organized by Hug It Forward & The WorldVentures Foundation and lead by Nadine Psareas. Please contact Nadine if you wish to serve in the trip as one of the 20 participants.
