Help Trini kids see Black Panther!

BLACK PANTHER EMPOWERS!
The Black Panther movie has elicited a sense of pride particularly for marginalized individuals from all walks of life, but especially for Black people. The sense of pride due to the powerful and strong characters portrayed in the movie, can truly inspire our youth to dream BIG and know that they are capable of achieving their goals and dreams despite the color of their skin or their socioeconomic backgrounds.

That’s why I’ve started this Go-fund-me account and need your help for making it possible to have over 400 kids from the island of Trinidad and Tobago to see this empowering movie on April 6th 2018 at Movie Town in Port-of-Spain Trinidad and Tobago.

Our youths need as much support and guidance they can get, and this is just one simple way that you can help.

 Proceeds will cover the following:

·      Movie Entry Fee to see Black Panther for students and accompanying chaperones

·      Popcorn and Drinks for all the kids

·      Transportation from the schools to the movie


 ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
My name is Teneisha Campbell and I was blessed to have had the opportunity to play a role in this groundbreaking movie as a member of the Border Tribe.

Growing up on the island of Trinidad and Tobago, I’ve always had positive elders encouraging me to fulfill my dreams. I came from a disadvantaged region of the island, so I know first hand how important positive images and influences are for the youths of Trinidad and Tobago.

 I’ve always had a passion to help kids and teens feel better about who they are and the potential they hold to be great individuals. Please help me to sow a positive seed in these youths in hopes to inspire a bright and positive future.

Together, we can make it happen!!
