Welcoming New Arrival Refugees

$4,725 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 62 people in 10 days
Sad to report there was a burglary at a Mission Valley  storage facility. This particular storage unit is used by community volunteers to help refugee families settle into their new home, providing beds, couches, toys, clothes, etc.

Our heart and passion is to help these families who are coming out of warzones and refugee camps feel welcomed. And who better to welcome than neighbors?!

This is a big disappointment as we were counting on many of the things that were being saved as gifts for Eid, which is a Holiday that is comparable to Christmas among Muslims. Additionally it is a blow to our morale as we work hard to help provide for some of the many needs that these new arrivals have.

We are looking for some funds to help raise money for Eid which marks the end of Ramadan. In addition to that, we are hoping to direct some of these funds  for some household essentials like bunkbeds.

Thank you for anything that you can give!
