Help Holliston Bloom

Holliston in Bloom designs, plants and maintains , many public spaces in our community, e.g., Town Hall, the border at the Congregational Church, the Police Station, many planters and more. We also raise the funds to buy the plants and materials and do NOT receive funds from the Town - oh, indeed we do get support and help from the DPW, Selectmen and others for which we are VERY grateful - but not dollars. And it takes dollars to buy the materials and plants.  We are a volunteer group dedicated to improving these public areas.

Each year we plant perennials and shrubs for sustainability, as the budget allows, replace annuals for continuous seasonal color, create, renovate, or expand beds, mulch, design and plant the large planters outside downtown businesses, and make simple repairs or pay for repairs.  

We rely on donations of money and materials through fundraising events.  Holliston in Bloom volunteers donated over 1,000 hours of labor and over $16,000 of plants and materials to the Town of Holliston in 2017.  While some of our efforts are in partnership with the Downtown Marigold Project and the Holliston Garden Club, our monies are separate.

This year, we are hoping that you can help us defray our costs with an online donation. That way, we may be able to reduce the time our committee spends on fundraising events, so we can devote more time to the gardening work.  We also hope to inspire more folks to help with the ongoing maintenance of plantings throughout our town. 

We will be grateful for any amount you can donate - $10, $25, $50, or more.  It all adds up!
