Help To Fix My Brother's Truck

Hey folks,

My name is Alexander Trapp. I'm the founder of It's A Trapp! Productions, an independent animation company dedicated to the creation of original animated web shows and other forms of creative media. I'm also an avid gamer looking to connect more with my online community through weekly live streams.

I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign for my older brother (he's asked for his name to be withheld) because he's had some recent trouble with his truck and it's come at a very bad time when he's tried to pay off other expenses. Since I have a decently sized platform on social media and a growing presence on YouTube and Twitch, I thought I could do my part to help him out by getting the word out.

According to my brother, and as seen in the video, the truck's head gasket has blown. This has come after other repairs were attempted, each of which has cost my brother a considerable amount of money, and now all he's left with is a vehicle that does not work and has severely hampered his ability to get to his job and other responsibilities. The total cost to fix the truck will be $1100, but I'm setting the goal on GoFundMe to $1200 due to payment fees and so on.

My brother works as a caregiver, much as I do for my mother, and as you may or may not know, caregivers don't make a huge amount of money. My family is under a great deal of financial strain as it is. Living paycheck to paycheck is a difficult way of life, so to have a big car expense come out like this is wreaking havoc on our plans to stay financially afloat.

So that's why I need your help. If YOU or anyone you know can donate to this page, that would be wonderful. My brother will need the money by the end of November. He's currently living with another family member, but my brother and his wife need to move out from there because that relative is expecting a new baby and they need the space that my brother and his wife are currently using to make room for the new arrival.

If this campaign is fully funded, I will create a personal animated video thanking each and every person who donates. I'll even, to the best of my ability, create a short animated video (either in 2D or 3D) featuring the characters from my web shows doing funny antics at your personal request. Just keep it clean please, as I do try to make my videos enjoyable by people of all ages.
