Help the Chavez Family #EPAHomeless

Donation protected
Can you imagine having school age children and living in one of the richest regions in the world, and yet having no place to call home?  The Chavez family is one of many families in the Silicon Valley who cannot afford a place to live.

Adriana and her husband Omar never imagined their family would be homeless. In 2016, they were evicted from their $1,200 a month studio in East Palo Alto when Omar hurt his back.

He had worked multiple jobs in the restaurant industry, but the family suddenly found themselves living in their car before they scrapped together a thousand dollars to buy a battered RV from a junkyard.

Thanks to a story by KPIX in February of 2017 which triggered the help of a local nonprofit (LifeMoves), the Chavez family is currently residing in a temporary shelter,

We are asking the community to come together to help the Chavez family get back on their feet. They are saving up for the moment they will have to transition out of the temporary shelter.

Please join us in helping the Chavez family. Everyone deserves a place to call home. Your support will change their entire world. It will mean so much to them.
