Hi Everyone.
Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time to listen. My name is Natasha and I'm an international student in the UK. Back home in Botswana, a few weeks after I left my mum had a stroke.
She was only 45 years old but spent a week in hospital. She temporarily lost function in her limbs and is still in the process of recovery. It has been 8 long months and my mum has not been at work. She struggled with depression and anxiety because as our only parent, she is the sole provider for my sister and I.
I just finished my first year in university but I'm not sure if I will be able to continue because I can barely afford to live in the UK anymore, let alone pay school fees.My sister is supposed to start university and the list of worries keeps getting longer. I have been looking for a job to help provide but I haven't been hired yet.
If you could donate any little bit of money to help alleviate my family's situation you would help pay medical and living bills, buy groceries and give my mum hope. With less things to worry about, she would be expected to have a faster recovery.
I don't know how far this campaign will reach but if you share it with someone and they donate anything, it really does make a difference to us. I'm begging you to help me support a woman that has always supported me.
