DAY 21 — HELP ME BRING MICHAEL HOME

Today, September 15, marks 23 days since I last saw my 4-year-old son, Michael.

It is also Day 17 without food since I put my plate away while fighting for my son's return.

21 days without his hugs.

21 days without dancing with him.

21 days without hearing his little footsteps and voice around our home.

My heart breaks.

I miss my son more than words can express.

Michael was taken from our home by his father on August 24, based on false allegations that I can "possibly harm" my son and has not been returned to me.

But what began as one mother's personal story is becoming something much bigger.

I am standing for Michael — but I am also standing for every woman, every child and every family who deserves to feel protected, heard and supported.

I have been informed that Michael's father will no longer contribute toward the mortgage on our jointly owned home. Donations will help me meet mortgage and housing expenses while this situation is being resolved.
