Help Maria get a place to call home
Maria Proffitt is an Angel to our family. On Tuesday January 24, 2017 Maria saved my mom's life. If it wasn't for this beautiful lady my mom may not be here today. Maria deserves the world, however Maria is homeless and lives in her truck with her dog. She parks her truck outside of my mom's convenience store. We would like to help Maria get a place to call home. She was our Angel, now we would like to give back to her.

Daisy, When my mom knew that she was having trouble, which she thought was just an asthma attack she called out for help. Maria happened to be in her truck and heard my moms cry for help. When Maria reached her she had already turned blue and had no pulse . If it wasn't for Maria she would not be here to tell her story.
Thank you for the update and taking care of this lady! So glad she finally has a place to live!
Thats was so nice how did she help your mom?
I know how she feel about be homeless. Please for her .
Mike, Thank you so much for the very kind words. You can continue to make donations here until we meet our goal or you can make donations at any Wells Fargo branch in Maria Proffitt's name.
I will be going through my stuff this week and if there's anything I can do to help, I will. I don't mind helping anyone. Back in the day, I used to work with Phyllis at kangaroo with also Nancy. They both were my managers. I loved Phyllis to death because she was the nicest manager I've ever had. I'm glad that Maria was there to help Phyllis. Now people are willing to help Maria. Right now I don't have much money but in the next three weeks I'll have some to offer Maria but just need to know who I need to get it to. It will be between $50-$100 to help towards bills so she don't loose her apartment. I don't know how it feels sleeping in the cold homeless. I would help anyone out when I can.
I have alot of things I can donate- sheets, towels, blankets, etc. All new or almost new! Let me know how to donate!
Candy, Thank you so much for reaching out to help Maria. We need to get curtains, bath towels, washcloths, dish rags, dish towels and bed linens for a queen size bed. She will have a new bed delivered this evening. We still have a ways to go to get her fully set up, however with everyone's help we will get there.
Candy that's very nice of you.
