Help Kim!! (Please Read this!!)

Everyone,

I know a lot of worthy people that could use financial /community help, but Kim is the most worthy woman I have ever met!! She has the most amazing encouraging, loving, servant heart! She spends her time volunteering at Mounds State Park, where I initially met her, and she also crochetes all kinds of things for anyone in need.

She needs transportation to help her get back to the work she loves doing, and then help her to get out of her lonely senior low income apartment. She wants to spend the rest of her life out of hospitals and in the community so she can give back and enjoy being cancer free!

She is 50 years old, and seven years ago she had devastating synovial sarcomas, which is cancer in her foot and ankle. Surgeons had to amputate her leg off starting eight inches below her knee. These tumors continued for five years, which has been a painful, expensive, and lonely process inside labs and hospitals. However, her last tumor was removed two years ago, and she has been cancer free!!! Praise God!!

Her words: "I just want to start my life over, get a vehicle, and become independent again so that I can go back to work. I have a degree in Journalism and 30 years of experience in customer service with additional public relations training. I really want to get back to work so that I can finally take care of myself and take my life back. It has been very hard not having a car or reliable form of transportation. "

Being an amputee, she is limited with how much she can walk. She has to ask for others just to get around and unfortunately has no family anywhere near her.

She would like to "be able to go to the store, appointments, etc. I live on disability right now and can't afford a car payment but if I could get financial help to buy a good, reliable, and safe car, I could finally gain my independence back and start looking for work again in my field. Then I would be able to move from where I am living right now, which is senior low income housing in downtown Anderson, IN . It's not the worst place, but also not the best place to live long term.

I was a single mom for years and worked hard at trying to better myself and now my son is married and on his own far away. It's my time to shine and try to work and help others.
I want to help other amputee and cancer patients alike. I want to mentor them. I hope to write a memoir about my experience of the past 7 years. I pray and ask for guidance and wisdom and knowledge I need to move forward. Thanks!"

2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Proverbs 19:17
"The one who is gracious to (those in need) lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed."
