Help for the Bisazza Family

Brian had a pain in his side over the weekend. He was admitted to Milford Regional where he underwent several tests. The medical staff has since learned that Brian has a perforation in his intestine that will require surgery. Because of the complexity of the surgery, Brian will be transported to Beth Israel, where they are more equipped to handle such a serious operation. It's now clear that Brian will not be home for Christmas this year. At this point, it's unclear what the recovery will look like, but it is likely to be lengthy.

As if that's not enough,  AJ broke his thumb at basketball practice last night, adding to an already stressful situation for the family. AJ and Wendy met with the orthopedic surgeon today, and it looks likely that AJ will need surgery to repair his thumb. 

Wendy is doing an amazing job holding it all together--- answering Jackson's questions about his Dad as he becomes more and more aware that something isn't right, driving AJ to appointments for his thumb, visiting and advocating for Brian at the hospital.

Wendy and Brian do so SO much for their friends and family, not to mention the constant fundraising for Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots , and so much more. The upcoming weeks will continue to be challenging for this family, both emotionally and financially. Please consider giving back to a family that has most certainly given to you or someone you know in one way or another. No donation is too small.
