Help Anton Pogue get his home back

I created this campaign to help a dear friend of mine Anton Pogue. He is an Ex-Professional World Class Snowboarder and incredible human being living in Punta De Lobos (Pichilemu, Chile) he moved there 15+ years ago to build his dream home and hostel so he could surf world class waves and share his place with people from all over the world. Everyone that has met him will tell you he is a bigger than life personality with a heart of gold and comedic banter. He is also kind to the point of being a little too naive which leads me to his current situation. He, in an attempt to legalize his business in Chile entered into an agreement with his then Chilean girlfriend to lease her a portion of the property so he could pay his taxes and live worry free. This did not turn out that way. She underhandedly wrote out the agreement to include his personal living quarters and give herself more authority than what they agreed to. Anton not knowing Spanish very well and being naive trusted her and signed the agreement not knowing what what was to follow. Within a couple weeks of the agreement being signed she falsely accused him of domestic violence and had a restraining order placed against him in order to kick him off his own property but she didn't stop there. She constantly uses it to harass him and make him leave establishments or other places around the town. She also proceeded to destroy all of his personal documents to include his and his son's birth certificates, legal documents, etc. She also destroyed most of his surf equipment and most recently has been selling off his personal possessions and furniture from the house and hostel. She also has not paid any of the rent that was laid out as a condition of the agreement which in itself should be terms to terminate the agreement, however he is dealing with the Chilean legal system and it seems as if justice isn't always delivered. He has been battling her in court to regain control of his property to no avail and has been sleeping in a tent with no means to support himself for the last 6 months. This is a travesty on the highest of levels as no person should have to endure life this way because of a malicious person. She robbed him of basically everything he had and he needs our help to get it back. Most recently in an attempt to raise awareness of his plight he locked himself to the gate of the local courthouse and sat there for hours to no avail and was subsequently arrested by the local authorities. He is in desperate need of help from outside sources. The people of Pichilemu support Anton but are afraid of the malicious nature of this woman. She has threatened and has caused many problems for locals that have spoke up or attempted to help Anton. Together we can raise the nessesary funds required to mount a proper defense with a trusted attorney to help Anton regain what his rightfully his and restore dignity in a man and is truly deserving of such.
