HELP AMA ANIMAL RESCUE BUILD A SHELTER

Angels for Mistreated Animals (AMA) has been a foster-based animal rescue organization founded out of Brooklyn. After obtaining a New York State 501(c)3 status in 2014, the organization’s mission has always been to safeguard animals who have experienced the most severe cases of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Since its inception, team AMA has saved countless sick, injured and abused pet companions from near death, domestically and abroad.
Having recently signed a lease for an 1,100 sq ft location, AMA is incredibly excited to finally be opening it's very first, true no-kill animal sanctuary. In the coming months there will be much work that needs to be done. Some of the essential aspects of the renovation will be fabricating the enclosures/kennels, installing the HVAC system and building out a backyard enclosure; ultimately creating a space where rescues can feel at home. The facility will also be equipped with in-house veterinary services.
Through efficient operations, adequate awareness and public support, the time has come for rescues to have a safe and comfortable haven where they can rest while waiting for their forever homes. This process will not be easy or cheap, however with your help, it will be one that will contribute to that many more lives being saved each year.
