Many of you will already know the journey one special boy had for a whole year. Our gorgeous, happy, smiley Oliver who was diagnosed with pulmonary atresia, DORV and a large VSD antenatally a few days after the 20 week scan.
Oliver had been through so so much in his short life, living in Alder Hey for over 5 months, fighting every single day.
2 days after he turned 1, Oliver decided it was time to go play with the angels eternally and fell asleep.
Me and Oliver’s dad were beyond heartbroken, words can’t describe the hole that is now in my heart and the emptiness in the pit of my stomach.
But this years heart week. We’re going to do what we do best, and spread our gorgeous boys smile and spread his story all for one beautiful, special charity. Tiny tickers ❤️

More information about Tiny Tickers: Tiny Tickers helps babies with congenital heart disease (CHD), their families and the health professionals who look after them. We want every baby with a serious heart condition to have the best chance of survival and quality of life. A baby is born with a serious heart condition every 2 hrs in the UK and despite CHD being one of the biggest killers of infants in the UK, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning. www.tinytickers.org
