Champaign-Urbana is home to people of all ages, races, and religions. With the world-class University of Illinois we are also a very global community with a long traditon of welcoming persons of all backgrounds.
To demonstrate our continued commitment to a community where all feel safe, valued and appreciated, we are extending the Hate Has No Home here effort that started In north Park (Chicago) to our comunity. This fund is to print yard and window signs to share with our neighbors and businesses reaffirming that "Hate Has No Home Here".
In order to print and distribute the signs we're asking for your donation so that all those neighbors interested in a sign may receive one regardless of their ability to pay. We will organize distribution following printing so that interested community members may pick these up at no charge. We will also be inviting businesses to post a sign. You are welcome to download and print the poster yourself or have a local printer make one for you. Go to www.facebook.com/hatehasnohomehere or www.hnpca.org to download the posters, yard signs, and bumper stickers.
