Hey Everyone , we are raising funds for a new drug and alcohol recovery meeting location in Washington PA. I am teaming up several Likeminded friends, Former Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky, Pastor Bob Hedges, M.J. Markely, John Hopper, Sarah Robinson, Marlo Barry and Anne Wightman. Each are attempting to raise $2,500 apiece to open the doors
Our passion for helping those in recovery has lead us to start this non-profit venture whose mission is to hold recovery meetings at all hours of the day and early
evening. This Center will also provide educational information for families & the community. This is vitally needed our area where 5% of all deaths last year were attributed to a drug overdoses.
Statistics prove that the best way to stay sober is by attending 12 recovery meetings. This center will certainly save lives!
We have already signed a lease on a building in downtown Washington that has 90 % of the renovations completed. At this point we need funding for new security doors and a wall divider so we can hold at least 2 meetings at the same time.
Our goal is to open the doors June 1st but we cannot do it without help. We have exhausted our funding for this and are turning to our friends to assist us in this last hurdle.
