If you love LaToya and her work as much as I do, then you probably know:
1. she is heading to Tokyo THIS WEEK to run the marathon
2. this is a special trip, she and her husband are celebrating their anniversary!
3. LaToya has had an effed up week.
I am on a MISSION to make sure the universe sends enough LOVE to her this week to balance out all the hate she got last week.
Unlike most social media influencers, LaToya really puts herself OUT THERE, the good the bad and the what-the-f*ck, all of the time. Most of us are here for all of it...because she does it all for free. Her journey is our journey and we don't get many opportunities to show her how much we appreciate her because she doesn't ask for money.
I, on the other hand, have no problem asking for money. I lived in Tokyo for four years, that place is crazy expensive. $3000 is basically one really good night out- a sushi starter, shabu-shabu dinner, drinks in Roppongi, dancing at BARBLACKNUDE , and then the most Japanese of all experiences, a love hotel !
Knowing LaToya, she will probably share every amazing minute with us on Facebook, she is incredibly generous.
Please please, this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, anything you can contribute to give LaToya and her husband one really good night out while they are there will be GREATLY appreciated. Let's show the haters why we love her, and give her the opportunity to show us how much fun Tokyo can be as a marathon destination!
