Hair Care for Students of Color

Hello All! I am currently a middle school teacher in Madison, WI. My school serves a diverse student body coming from various backgrounds.  Many of the students I teach are students of color who also come from low socioeconomic households (and homelessness). Much of the identity of these students is their hair and how it is taken care of.  Unfortunately, these students and their families do not have the financial means to invest in the emotional importance of their own "hair journey." This fund is created with  the hope that, together, we can provide these students with the products and services they need to fully express themselves.  Thank you in advance!
