Gretchen - GA Sanders Delegate

I have a lot of conversations that include the sentence "if you had told me... I would have never believed that ..."

I'm Gretchen from Georgia's 8th Congressional District and I was elected to be a Georgia At-Large Delegate for Bernie Sanders on June 11th. Time is short before the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia.

I got involved in politics when my husband and I moved back to the family farm, where we thought we wouldn't bother anybody and nobody would bother us.

Well, gee, sadly, we were wrong, and we found ourselves immersed in local government.  We got involved with the local Democratic Party, the state Democratic Party and now I am raising funds to go to my second National Convention.

This time I'm excited to be going as a Bernie Sanders Delegate.  It's time to end wars of aggression , work diligently to protect our precious plant ,  make sure that everyone has access to quality healthcare and a high quality public education.

I'd like to raise $1000 to cover transportation, housing and food.

I'm taking the train from Jesup to Philadelphia and making every effort to be a good steward of my resources and yours. Every little bit will help.
