Goochland YouthNet is a program that empowers kids ages 5-18 to improve lives and strengthen our community through small grants that support local service initiatives.
Recipients receive funding up to $250, and may choose to be matched with a local mentor who'll help them make their project a success.
At Goochland YouthNet, we believe you're not too little to start something big.
So, what matters to you? Bullying prevention, youth mental health, substance abuse, LGBT rights, animal welfare, improving our environment, helping kids get school supplies-- whatever the challenge, we believe in your ability to stand up to it.
You have ideas. We have means to help.
Partnering with Goochland YouthNet gives you access to funds and community mentors: people who respect your leadership and want to help you succeed in making our community better.
Sponsored projects must meet guidelines, including:
One-time grants of up to $250
No payback required
Open to residents of Goochland county, ages 5-18
Project can be ongoing, or one time event
Must be open and accessible to entire community
Independent projects only; no organizational affiliations, including religious organizations
Goochland YouthNet is a Goochland Parentnet organization, and supported by individuals. We are not a 5013(c) organization; donations are not tax deductible.
