Hello, my name is Kame, and I am the co-founder & CEO of a startup called Sambav which means it is possible.
Our story started when I fell sick with an unknown immune disorder in 2014, which took almost everything from me physically leaving my family and me with love, hope and thankfulness to God for keeping me alive.
After almost 2 years of recovery, my husband Hari and I embarked upon our journey to build a system which could predict medical issues and remedies using advanced technology so that people don't have to go through what I had to.
But, during this journey we ended up learning many harsh facts about life, how many people across the world struggle without access to minimum healthcare, safety and any meaningful opportunity to progress.
So, we reworked our product to incorporate a few goals to fix this. As the first step in our long journey, we have built a subscription model for kids aged 5-25 in India, which provides $1500 health insurance for kids and $1500 accidental coverage with the support of an insurance company called Bharti AXA.
We also offer safety card & stickers which can keep them protected using simple mobile apps, annual health checkup, and four yearly online competitions to provide them a platform to showcase their talent for $1 per month.
Although we were happy about our success for little as we had strong support from admirers and critics the fact still remains that this was still not affordable by many our little friends.
I wish we had the money to support these kids ourselves, but since we are still in early stages running a rocky ship, we decided to seek help from all you lovely people.
We are hoping to work with the insurance companies in all the countries to roll out similar programs based on the success of this program.
We are also working on rolling out a safety tracker app which can send required info to the doctor and the loved ones during emergencies along with the location and a thank you note for being kind.
We plan to mail the thank you note with the kid's picture and promise to remain 100% auditable about the kids whom we serve.
This round of fundraising is focused for kids living in orphanages , slums of India
$10 donation can provide kid

2. Accident insurance of $1500 /Rs 1 lakh
3. Safety card which can help kid protected using any mobile
4. Annual health checkup
5. 4 fun contests to provide these kids chance to show case their talent & skills to grow
