Give Duckie a mattress!!!

Hi everybody! My name is Tina and I’m hoping to fundraise a mattresss for my beautiful friend & comrade Duckie.
Duckie has had some unfortunate luck lately. After spending some time briefly couch hopping, she moved from Philly to New Orleans under the pretense that she was going to live in a room that is 2x less than what she is paying. Her job is far away and was relying on a cheap bike, but it broke and she had to buy a new one. The new one got stolen. Her new job is scheduling her half of the time they told her and she isn’t making enough money to pay her bills (her last paycheck was $40). On top of that, she is sleeping on the slats of an ikea bedframe (she had an air mattress but it popped).
Duckie was one of the people who was there for me when I was Really Going Through It last summer, so this is a chance for me to repay all the emotional support she gave me. Since she moved away from my city there’s not much I can do except this.
Please consider donating towards a new mattress for Duckie if you can! The money will be going towards a full size mattress ($100-200) and if we hit our goal the rest will be going towards Duckie to help her out.
