Ify Ezimora '19 is many things. She's our class president, she's an incredible athlete, and she's an inspiring and caring scholar using her degree in Psych + ENVS for positive social change. Ify is co-chair of SFC this year, and has worked for OST in their other years on campus. Ify is an incredible leader on this campus, and has put countless hours of labor into helping Class of 2019 thrive.
This semester, Ify took on the task of creating an ENTIRE. YEARBOOK. Whaaaat?! Ify has used their skills of photography, editing, design, content-writing, and more all for our benefit - giving us a beautiful book we can hang onto after graduation, and that will surely stoke nostalgia for years to come. Ify has five years of yearbook experience and was editor-in-chief of their high school yearbook for two years. Hello, QUALIFICATIONS! We are so excited for this.
Ify needs to get paid for this work. Their stipend from the college barely scrapes the actual number of hours they've spent on this yearbook - last night, they were awake in Terrell until 2am just working on this book! And this is *on top* of everything else Ify is doing in her final semester. (Hello double capstone, chairing SFC, planning commencement, etc...)
A project like this usually takes an entire class of people, a year to plan and assemble, and would include a faculty advisor. Ify is making this whole thing happen out of sheer will.
