Sundial Herbal Shop's Repairs

Sundial Herbs & Herbal Health Food Shoppe is a staple in the Uniondale, NY and Nassau County community. It is a place of healing and wellness beyond the doctor's prescription for so many people, and it needs your help! 

Andre Pigatt Jr. is a valued member of Uniondale's community; he is running one of the only black-empowered small herbal businesses in the area, and has taken up the job himself alongside his passion for herbalism, holistic health knowledge, and compassion for others.



Sundial Herbs provides its customers not only with a wonderfully varied selection of herbs, tonics, tinctures, and oils, but a place of reprieve and understanding. One section of the store stands as a testament to philisophical, political, and spiritual leaders of many African-American and mixed raced backgrounds; a smaller corner is held for candles, oils, and incense, with little pamphlets on personal health, self-pride, and better living dotted all around its store. 




Earlier this winter, Sundial Herbs &Herbal Health  Food Shoppe suffered a severe case of vandelism, resulting in an extreme reduction in profits, loss of merchandise, and property damage so extensive the business has had to many times - even currently - shut its doors to its community. Many people have come by wondering why the shop's welcoming doors have been closed; why, sorrowfully, the windows showcasing all warmth and greenery have been destroyed.

All funds raised for the Sundial Herbs & Herbal Health Food Shoppe fund will be put directly towards the repairs and rehabilitation of the herb shoppe. No direct estimate for the damages done to the windows, shelves, or lost merchandise has been determined yet (it's a one-man show!) but updates on cost's and the shoppe's recovery from this tragedy will be made.
