Dear Friends of Raymond Park,
We are thrilled to kick off another season of warm weather activities to build community in our neighborhood and appreciation of our beautiful shared space.
Last summer, we expanded our programming with a new free “fitness in the park” series featuring bootcamp and yoga classes for all ages and levels, and continued our outdoor Movie Nights series with live music and family-friendly films.
This year, we want to expand on the music program with a live concert by a The Durgas and pilot a weekly "Pizza on the Hill" picnic on Friday evenings, for neighbors to come together. The annual third party costs to screen movies and to hire live music come to about $4,000. However, we only collect around $1,200 each summer, the shortfall having been covered by the members of the FORP committee in the past years.
We’re asking our most loyal park stewards to become patrons of the summer events and to help us make up the shortfall in funding.
Can we count on you for a donation?
Please consider a donation of $100 or more (but donations in any amount are welcome and will make these events happen!). All the money we receive will go towards the third party costs of Raymond Park events. Thank you in advance for enriching our park community and the summer experience of countless neighbors.
