Free Books for Houston's Youth

Houston has and will continue to experience hardships during their time of recovery.

As a Marine Corps veteran, I ponder about what contributions I can make in the most original and safest way possible. I thought to myself that I should do something for the children that will last them a longer period of time. With only less than 10 days for me left in the states, before I return to China for my studies, I wanted to start up a fund of my own where teenagers in Houston can have something to keep with them and enjoy in this time of need.

I want to raise a fund and send 250 of my own books (in paperback) to children in collaboration with a local library in Houston at no price to the child or parent. The book I will send is a recently released novel of a science fiction (Action/Superhero) story that I have been working on for almost 19 years. I feel that I can share my passion of teen triumph with those going through and recovering from the hardships after the storm.

I hope that my story will lift more hearts, and if possible, I will donate more books when we are successful.
