Mattresses for Overflow Shelter

For the past four years, local churches have served as overflow shelter sites via the FM Sheltering Churches project as Fargo-Moorhead area shelters overflow.
Our overflow shelters are nothing extravagant, but provide somewhere warm and safe for those who have nowhere else to go. We offer a light snack, warm drinks, clean blankets — and an air mattress.
Because air mattresses are not entirely made for being used day after day for winters on end, they wear out. They do however, offer the flexibility to be rolled up, stowed away and easily transported between shelter locations.
We are hoping to purchase 50 new mattresses for our shelter initiative, at $50 each (for a total of $2500).
Our goal is to raise the funds THIS season - and purchase new mattresses before the winter has passed.
