We would like to thank everyone who has supported our efforts to prevent Bing's Landing Historic County park from being overwhelmed by Captain's BBQ's expansion into a full service restaurant.
We have joined forces with "Hammock Community Association" and "Save our Park" to expand our efforts. Tax deductible donations are now being accepted at:

Flagler County Commissioners are trying to approve wasteful, unnecessary spending and passing the cost onto you, the taxpayers.
Flagler County Citizens Group, and our partners are trying to obtain professionals to provide and document legal, engineering, archaeological and environmental analysis pertaining to the recent decision made by the former County Administrator and the County Commissioners which is contrary to the interest of the taxpayers and voters, and will only benefit the restaurant owners.
The immediate issue is the lease between Flagler County, involving property purchased with Environmentally Sensitive Funds, known as Bing's landing/Malacompra Historic Archaeologic Park and the recently negotiated lease with Captain's BBQ restaurant, which was approved in a "rush to judgement" vote by the Board of County Commissioners, while following dubious or questionable procedure.
We have been successful in getting the proposed lease rescinded, and are moving forward with analysis of the existing structure.

We ask for whatever donation you feel is within your budget to help the citizens take back control of their county. The FLAGLER COUNTY CITIZENS GROUP is an organization of concerned citizens attempting to stop the encroachment of the commercialization of Bings Landing , Historic MalaCompra Park, and as such make no guarantees as to the result of the efforts, nor occurs liabilities or duties other than to promote the effort and to manage all donations gathered in a reasonable and transparent manner.
