Fire Service Honor Guard Uniforms

The fire service is a very traditional group of people. The life is rewarding, but difficult at times, and ceremony and pageantry is vital for maintaining morale and helping personnel remember why they do what they do. Honor guards play a big role in those times, and until last year our whole county was without one. The Fire Chief's Association, at the urging of the Chaplain Corps and other individuals, formed an honor guard, which has already served at one memorial, and will do several more this coming year. Honor guards also serve at funerals and other events, providing a stirring and encouraging service to first responders and their families.
Our honor guard is comprised of seven members from several different fire departments. We need matching Class A uniforms and the accessories to go with them. All of the departments are volunteer, so funds are limited for extras like this. We need your help!

CHANGE! We've found a vendor that can provide a quality uniform for much less money, each complete uniform, shoes to caps, costing approximately $600 (instead of $900), and we will also need patches and other accessories to complete our uniforms. Your help will outfit an honor guard to be proud of. Thank you! We are also working at finding other funding sources, doing fundraisers, etc., to help out. So, I've lowered the amount being asked for here. And I intend to turn over all fundraising to the Fire Chiefs' Association as soon as possible. I'll keep you posted!
