Our goal is to have an annual international contest powwow in the Fargo Moorhead community. This pow wow will allow the Fargo area to showcase the rich Native American culture from this area and nationally.
Fargo-Moorhead's growth in the last few decades has included a strong urban Native American population. Whether for reasons of higher education, employment, or otherwise, this group has added to the rich culture that makes
the FM area so appealing.
Our FM Crossroads Contest Pow Wow will bring the finest dancers, singers, and vendors to Fargo Moorhead to display their talents in a weekend of spirited competition. It will allow the local community an opportunity to host a large cultural event that truly is in the center of Indian Country.
