The Lowe Family Story. Our family could use some help. There's many causes out there that deserve help in some way or another. My mother always brought me up the best that she could. I was taught to do the right thing and always help someone if you can. Help didn't always mean money or labor. Sometimes it's just talking with someone through what they feel they need help with. Sometimes help can be as simple as giving someone a hug and letting them know they're not alone. Our story: Back in 2012 my lovely wife who is my best friend and I met and grew closer together. On day one of our meeting I told my future wife that I had a son that did not live with me. I didn't have visitation with my son and haven't for some time. My future wife knew that there maybe struggles along the way. We were ready and willing to work on the struggles together. My wife and I moved in together and we became each other's support system. Yes we had our struggles from time to time. Income was always one of those struggles. As time went by my wife and I talked over getting married and what that would look like for us. Seeing the smile and the expression on my future wife's face meant so much to me that we got married. Our family came together and helped to support us any way possible. We officially moved in to our new rental and began putting up pictures. We bought a couch with wedding gift cards. My wife and I couldn't really afford to go on a honeymoon that we wanted to like a cruise or Vegas. So we didn't. We both worked whatever minimum wage job we could get to support each other. Trying to find our niche in the world. I received summons to court and my wife was by my side. My wife and I read the summons and became aware that my biological son had been living a life that no child should ever go through. Along with abuse and malnourishment. My biological son was living under the state's care in foster care. My wife was there by my side for support. My wife said to me one day something that made me feel really good. My wife said to me that if my son would come to live with us. My wife would be his mom. My wife also said to me that she would sign to be his legal mother if needed. I felt all teary-eyed just hearing those words. The state granted me full decision-making and parental rights. My son would live with my wife and I in our home. My sons biological mother was given visitation rights. Not much time went by before we found that my son's biological mother was not going to be in his life because of her own decisions. My wife and I did what we could to give my son his own room his own loft bed a dresser his own things to give him the feeling of home. Since then my wife and I and our son have moved into another rental. We cannot buy a home because of our credit and those things like child support on our credit. I have always rented a home and lived paycheck-to-paycheck. From time to time asking family or friends for help. Asking for help isn't easy for many people. My goal and the reasoning for this GoFundMe account is to help pay off our credit and bring up or credit scores. Then look for a home for our family. Once we have done this we find a place to settle down were we can feel that this is home. To feel that when our lease is up at a rental our rate of rental may go up. Maybe not be approved to stay longer and have to move. If our family had our credit paid off and our credit score was where it needed to be to buy a home. I believe our family would be blessed and happy together. The Pain: I need to make payments on my credit and child support or I may be taken to court then maybe jail. For me to serve time away from my family and my son that I've worked hard to keep in my life. We owe money to our family and to child support. If we had this money I believe the money would make things better for us. This money would take away the fear of going to court. All because of money that needs to be payed to the state.
