Justin Francis was involved in a tragic accident that took him from his friends and family too soon. Justin was the kind of guy that added life to every room he walked into. His zest for life and his love for Jesus and his family was so apparent. Justin followed a dream to become a firefighter and would have given his life for anyone. Justin has a wife and 2 young kids who are left with questions and a void that will be impossible to fill. They are comforted by the fact thst Justin was a believer and is looking down watching over them from Heaven and will one day embrace his wife and babies again.
I’m hoping that we can lessen the financial burden that will be on Rachel’s shoulders while balancing work and her 2 young kids by raising some money.

It has been 7 months since Justin’s accident and death. In this time we have experienced many firsts, challenges, breakdowns and sorrowful days. We have also experienced moments of healing, of joy that surpasses all understanding, restoration and blessing. I am so humbled and truly speechless at the outpouring of love and support for Kai, Andie and myself; as well as for our entire family. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity. Your support through financial blessing, prayers and words of encouragement have helped us forge ahead in these past 7 months. We wouldn’t be where we are without you. This ‘new normal’ is not a path I would ever have chosen, nor would I wish it upon anyone to go through when we have. That said, our God is faithful. He has been carrying us through this dark valley and I know that He has a huge calling on both of the kids’ lives and my own.

As we go into Christmas this year, and as I reflect on all that has changed in my life, I pray the following prayer for myself and each and every one of you.

“Heavenly Father, I come before you humbled by Your greatest gift to us, Your Son. I thank You that You are a God who not only loves and cares for us, but that You also experienced and understand everything we go through. I thank you that You have prepared a place for us in heaven with You. I thank You for Your countless blessings and that You invite us to partner with You to be a blessing to others; to do Your work here in Earth. I pray for Your touch on each person who gave to help support the kids and I. I pray that You would bless them and meet them exactly where they are. I love You Lord. Amen”

Thank you again.

Love,

Rachel, Kai and Andie
