My heart goes out to the victims of the various recent Acts-of God and Man-Made tragedies, but I'm already in need here in Washington, D.C. I'm a homeless very obese man with asthma, sleep apnea, and diabetes struggling on the streets of D.C. from day to day.
Since August 21, 2017 I have been homeless like Mary and Joseph.
Unlike that holy couple, I was evicted from an apartment at gunpoint by the U.S. Marshals due to a loss of a job last year and lack of money.
The U.S. Marshals came today (August 21) at around 10:00 AM. They had their guns and flashlights pointed at me and had me handcuffed. After searching the apartment and asking the same demeaning questions over and over again, when they finally uncuffed me, they barely let me put on my clothes, grab my laptop and grab what I could. I still need help. The U.S. Marshals said that I now owe $8000. I still need your help!

It is too late to come up with the money, so I'm focused on trying to pay the $8500 I owe plus court fees and trying to find some a new place to stay. I have been homeless before, and I didn't want to end up on the streets again.
I am barely in good health being very obese with asthma, sleep apnea, and diabetic. I usually don't do something like this, but I am at the end of my rope! Normally, I wouldn't ask for help at all but this is a desperate situation. I am out on the streets now. The struggle is real!
I made a campaign 7 months ago on generosity.com , when all this these things were starting to happen, to PREVENT it from coming to this & NOT be homeless. No one donated!
It's unbelievable that when someone reaches out for help, to make sure they don't become homeless, AND NO ONE HELPS! Then people wonder why the homeless rate keeps getting higher.
Sometimes, unfortunate things happen in life to decent people, and they NEED HELP!
I've run into some financial hardship since I lost my job June of last year (June 2016). I had to resign because of a disagreement with one of my co-workers in June 2016, and I've been trying to get another job ever since.
I have little to no prospects on the horizon, I've been studying to try to get my A+ Computer Certification so I can find a better job. I passed the CompTIA A+ Certification exam, so I have this main credential I need to get a job in my field of IT.
What friends I do have, try to help me out when they can, but they have their own troubles. I only ask if you can help me in this endeavor, and I will be eternally grateful.
I have no way to transport any of my belongings to put in storage or any money to rent a storage space. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
