Last night, tragedy struck my stepdad and mom when a fire completely destroyed their home. In a matter of hours, they lost everything they owned — their belongings, both of their cars, and most heartbreakingly, their youngest dog, Coco.

This home was more than just walls and a roof. It was filled with years of memories, love, and laughter. It’s the only home their grandkids have ever known. Now, all that remains is ash and heartbreak.

They are starting from absolutely nothing and facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives. We’re asking for help — no matter how small — to provide them with basic essentials, temporary shelter, clothing, transportation, and to help them take the first steps toward recovery.
