My coworker is truly the heart of our team. She has always been a super hard worker, going above and beyond for the kids and staff every single day. Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer, and it has spread into her hip, making it extremely difficult for her to walk or move around. Despite her pain, she still wants to work and be there for our students, showing incredible strength and dedication.

She is the kind of person who is always thinking of others. She makes little baggies for teachers on holidays, gives her extra time to create things for staff and students, and is always on the lookout for classroom supplies that might help. Even now, she finds ways to bring me items that make a difference for our students. Her generosity and kindness have touched so many lives in our school community.
