A few years ago, my mom Alba Lopez began experiencing heart problems. A week ago, her heart failed again, and she had to be rushed to Santa Rosa for open-heart bypass surgery. Of course, she now has to stay put for her full recovery, which could take about three months. However, we, her children, will try to run the business as one of the sources of income for the family, and that's why I'm writing this story.
