HELP MY FAMILY TO EMERGENCY EVACUATE GAZA

Hello everyone,

My name is Lara Abdelsalam, a pharmacist and freelance medical translator from Gaza, I am fundraising this after much contemplation and hesitation, as I find myself in a desperate situation. I am seeking your support to evacuate a family of 11 from Gaza during this ongoing war. The situation has become unbearable, and I fear for the safety and well-being of my loved ones.

I am seeking your support for my family who is currently trapped in the war-torn region of Gaza, Rafah. We have displaced 5 times from 7th, october from one place to another, and the israeli occupation army not allows us to return to the north. The ongoing conflict has devastated our lives, leaving us homeless, vulnerable, and facing the constant threat of death. I am desperate to help us escape this dire situation and provide us with a chance at a safer and more secure future.

Everyone in my family has a dream to fulfill, and has something he/she is passionate about:

My father, Abdelsalam, is the light of our family, suffers from a number of chronic diseases, wants to see his family members achieving their dreams peacefully, also, he wants to live in peace, as he has seen it all, the two intifadas, the Gulf wars, Gaza wars, etc...

Ola, My beautiful mother, has the same dreams as our father. Since October, she lost eight family members, and don't want to lost more.

Asmaa, the older daughter, and a mom for 3 children (Zain, a 10-year-old, Qusai, a 8-year-old, Lojain, a 5-year-old), her husband trapped in north Gaza, she wants to give her children a chance to live in peace in a safe environment for children, a bright future, and a chance to complete their educational journey.

Lara (campaign's founder) a 27-year-old, I am a pharmacist, i lost my job during this war, i was planning to prepare my master’s degree in medical biostatistics in Alexandria university in Egypt, but i trapped here with no hope.

Eslam, a 23-year-old a fresh-graduate, starting her new job as accountant. But the company was bombed and lost her job also. her dream was to complete her studies abroad, but the ongoing war has made this impossible for her.

Osama, a 20-year-old brother, a college student, dreams of becoming a dentist, after 4 years of hard work, and high expenses, the war has made all of that go in vain, he is so depressed because of his lost effort.

Maryam, a 19-year-old sister, a student who is trying to get a bachelor degree in data science, unfortunately, the Islamic University of Gaza has been bombed and severely damaged, and her dream to become a data scientist has faded away.

Mohamed, a 17-year-old high school student, his dreams are simple and innocent, as he wants to get a high average in her final year of high school, so he can celebrate her success with her family and relatives.

Request for Assistance:

I have initiated this fundraising campaign to urgently gather funds to help me and my family leave Gaza as soon as possible. The total cost to secure our departure is €50,000. This amount includes €5,000 per adult, and €2500 per child for departure fees, which must be paid to an Egyptian side facilitating our safe passage Upon reaching our destination, we will require financial support to cover basic living expenses, including accommodation, food, transportation, and healthcare, until we secure stable employment.

The funds raised through this campaign will be utilized to cover the costs associated with evacuating my family from Gaza. This includes transportation expenses, necessary documentation, and temporary accommodation until we can find a more permanent solution.
