Hi friends,

It’s me Gab! Along with my sister, boyfriend and close friends, I will be running the Victoria Half Marathon in October, and will be raising money to benefit, The Kidney Foundation of Canada in honour of my mom who is awaiting a Kidney donor.

If you are lucky enough to know my mom, you know that she is the most empathetic, caring and generous person you will ever meet. In her retirement, she got a part time job working with kids, only to give all her earnings to an acquaintance that couldn’t make rent. She is so selfless, and I am so excited to do this run and give back to an organization who has supported our extended family through 5 kidney transplants! As her Kidney Disease and transplant journey is far from over, we want to dedicate this run to her and her resilience!
