I'm reaching out on behalf of a dear friend whose family is going through an incredibly difficult time. They are some of the kindest, most dedicated parents I know—doing everything they can to provide a stable and loving home for their two young children. Despite working full-time, my friend is facing an overwhelming combination of challenges that are making it harder and harder just to get by.

Due to recent budget cuts, their family has lost access to food assistance. At the same time, the cost of life-saving insulin for his wife has increased significantly. With rising rent and grocery prices, they are now forced to make heartbreaking decisions—like whether to pay the bills or buy enough food for the week.

They've started rationing both food and medicine to make ends meet.

As if that weren’t enough, their eldest daughter began experiencing severe night terrors that left the whole family exhausted and deeply concerned. Desperate for answers, they paid out of pocket for an independent sleep study to help their daughter get the care she needed. It was the right decision, but it came at a serious financial cost.

Now, they’re behind on rent, struggling to keep the fridge stocked, and stretched thinner than ever. I’m asking for your help to lift some of this burden from their shoulders. Every dollar raised will go toward essentials—rent, food, medical expenses, and keeping the lights on.

They are doing everything they can—but right now, they need a little help to get through this rough patch. If you’re able to contribute or share this campaign, it would mean the world.
