Hello, my name is Nathaniel Erickson also known as Choppo The Barber. I am an Illinois licensed Barber. I have a good friend of mine who has been getting him & his three sons haircut by me for quite sometime. A couple months have passed by & I haven’t received a call or message from my friend Mr. Quincy Jones confirming our next Appointment. A couple weeks ago I received a call from Mr. Jones stating that the reason he has not reached out to me was because his 11 Year Old Son “Deondre” Jones has been feeling sick & was taken to the hospital to find out on June 4th 2020 that Deondre has “Neuroblastoma” Cancer. Treatments are around 15-18 months and include 5-6 months of chemo. A stem cell transplant that includes a more agressive form of chemo. during that time he will be in the hospital for 4-6 weeks at a time. if the schedule proceeds as planned that puts him there for his birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and new years! The travel back and fourth alone since June has costed over 200$ dollars in gas plus food expenses & cleaning supplies.  Dad’s only been home for about a week and a half total since he found out which has affected him working & taking care of home. The cancer has a 60-65% eventless survival rate. it's in his legs, spine, arms and his head. The source tumor was successfully removed, now he has just gotta fight!
