My name is Bie, and I am a mother from Sweden.
For more than a year, I have been fighting to be reunited with my two youngest children, who are currently in another country.
After a long and painful legal process in Sweden, I was granted sole custody of my children.
However, for the Swedish court’s decision to be recognized and enforced abroad, I now have to take the case to court in that country – a complicated and costly international process under the Hague Convention.
I have finally found a lawyer abroad who can help me, but I need to pay an advance fee of about 2,000 Swiss francs (approximately 24,000 SEK / 2,000 USD).
In addition, there will be costs for translations and documentation, though I do not yet know the full amount.
After several years of legal battles, all my savings are gone, and I am already deeply in debt due to previous court proceedings.
This fundraiser is my last hope to continue the fight for my children’s right to come home.
I am not asking for more than what is needed to cover legal fees and necessary documentation.
All contributions will go directly toward verified legal expenses.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read, share, or support this cause.
Your help means more than words can express – it gives hope, strength, and a chance for a mother and her children to be together again.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bie
