Bring Joy to Children in Need This Christmas
Donation protected
During the holidays, we all ask family and friends…what do you want for Christmas?
What if that question meant something totally different for others? What if the word WANT was replaced with the word NEED?
I am honored to call this year #11. 11 years of helping families in need during the holidays. 11 years of friends, family, and our amazing community coming together to help provide Christmas to local elementary school children in need.
Each year, the NEED gets bigger and bigger. As our nation is struggling, families are finding themselves living paycheck to paycheck, sleeping in cars, bunking with other family members, or maybe living in a motel.
The stories I hear are heartbreaking. But if we can lift the burden for a few families, placing smiles not only on the children’s face, but also their family, let’s do it! We can all make a difference in a persons life with a kind gesture.
Remember the WANT vs NEED? These children are asking for underwear, socks, jackets, warm, clothes, shoes, and even school uniforms for Christmas. The toy options of toys are Barbies, balls, Legos, coloring books, hair care, and more clothes just to name a few. Humbled gifts. gifts our children would most likely Shun.
Together, we can make a difference!
Together, we can make children’s Christmas bright!
Together, we can change a families life when they may need it the most!
Ask yourself, what does Santa mean to you?
For me, Santa means allowing oneself to help others. To provide a kind gesture to help with another, without asking for anything in return. Give the excitement, smiles, love, and hope to everybody around. Become a Santa and give the gift for Christmas.
