Angela's Journey

Hi we are the family of a beautiful angel called Angela....

On Saturday 3rd February our family's world was completely rocked by the news that our beloved Angela had suffered a severe and sudden brain aneurysm from which she never recovered and sadly passed away.

Angela was and will always be one of the most beautiful, charismatic and positive person we knew.

Angela was a mother of 5 beautiful children, they were her life and she would stop at nothing to make sure they were cared for and loved.

Difficult circumstances
Over the past few years Angela became a full time carer to one of her younger sons, who was sadly diagnosed with brain cancer and she spent every second of the day by his side, helping him through intensive cancer treatment and rehabilitation to build his strength to continue to fight his battle.

Despite the circumstances she faced Angela remained incredibly resilient and was always encouraging family and friends that everything would be alright and because of the strength she showed she also instilled hope, positivity and allowed us to be apart of his journey and treatment.

Angela then held them together when towards the end of 2023 her eldest son sadly became the victim of a traffic accident which resulted in hospilisation and life impacting injuries. Angela somehow found more strength to persevere through this new challenge and kept fighting for both her boys, encouraging her other children and us all that everything was still going to be alright and to have hope.

Angela juggled her time going back and forth between hospitals, kids going to school and college, doing her best to ensure their needs were being covered. She was a tower of strength in spite of the unfortunate situations she and her family faced.

From January 2024 Angela spent time away from her home in Birmingham to stay at a London rehabilitation centre in support of one her son's treatment, during what should have been three months of finally seeing him progress further in his cancer treatment, it would sadly be shortlived by her sudden and untimely passing.

Her legacy....

While we prepare for her funeral and plans to lay her to rest, we also consider the legacy she leaves behind in her children and her immense love for them. As such, we would love to try to pull together funds to support them.

We especially consider that two of her children are still undergoing ongoing and long-term hospital treatments. If you would like to contribute whatever you feel lead to, to help support their future, all in Angela's memory we would be most grateful. Thank you.
