This year I’m running a marathon not for a personal achievement but for an important cause, to raise vital funds for a beautiful little girl named Sophie, who is bravely battling Batten disease - a rare and devastating neurodegenerative condition.

Sophie is more than a diagnosis. She’s full of life, love, and light. Her family is navigating through unimaginable medical challenges with strength and grace, and I want to help ease some of the financial struggles that comes with ongoing care, treatments, and support.

Every step I take on this 26.2 mile journey is for Sophie and her incredible family. With your help, we can make a meaningful difference, whether it’s funding critical care or simply giving Sophie more opportunities to laugh, play, and feel joy.
