If you know Brendan, you know he has a deep love for the outdoors—whether it’s hunting, camping, or simply relaxing in the backyard. Each year, he looks forward to spending time at hunt camp with close friends.

Unfortunately, this year’s trip took a tragic turn. While on a trail with a friend, Brendan was involved in a serious ATV accident. He was thrown from the vehicle and sustained critical injuries, including a fractured skull, severe brain injury, cracked ribs, and a collapsed lung.

Brendan was airlifted to Toronto and admitted to the Critical Care Unit, where he received immediate and continuous medical attention. While his condition has stabilized, he faces a long road to recovery and will require extensive rehabilitation in the coming months.

During this time, his wife, Stephanie, will be caring for both Brendan and their two young daughters, ages 5 and 3. As you can imagine, this has placed a significant emotional and financial strain on their family, especially since Brendan is self-employed. The uncertainty of how long his rehab and recovery will take and the impact on his work has added to their challenges.
